The Space of Variations – Where Your Perfect Life Already Exists

Reality transurfing - Variations of space

This might sound completely crazy, but stick with me: somewhere in reality, there’s a version of your life where everything you want has already happened.

Your dream home? It exists. The perfect relationship? It’s real. The career that lights you up? It’s already there.

This isn’t wishful thinking or fantasy—it’s one of the most profound concepts in Reality Transurfing called the Space of Variations.

Everything That Can Exist, Does Exist

According to Vadim Zeland, the Space of Variations contains every possible version of reality. Think of it like an infinite library where every book that could ever be written already exists on the shelves. Our job isn’t to create our dreams from scratch—it’s to find the right “book” (variation) and simply pick it up from the shelf.

When I first read this, my rational mind rebelled. “How can that be?,” I thought. “If my perfect life already exists, why don’t I have it?”

I mulled over it and admitted that I was perhaps living in one specific variation, but I could learn to slide into different ones.

My Accidental Slide into the “Peaceful Morning” Variation

I discovered this accidentally when I was struggling with chaotic mornings. Every day started with a crazy rush where I came dead last—making sure everyone else’s breakfast was ready, school lunches packed, uniforms found, but completely neglecting myself. I’d grab whatever I could find (usually cold coffee and yesterday’s leftovers) and feel frazzled before the day even began.

One morning, instead of my usual panic about getting everyone else sorted first, I had this weird thought: “What if there’s a version of this morning that’s actually peaceful? What if I matter too?”

I didn’t try to force calmness or follow some elaborate morning routine. I just… held the possibility that a peaceful morning could exist—one where everyone’s needs got met, including mine.

And somehow, almost magically, I found myself moving differently. Getting up ten minutes earlier, preparing things the night before, actually sitting down with my coffee my daughter ate her breakfast.

Nothing external changed dramatically—same house, same morning routine, same family needs. But I was suddenly living in a different variation of the same morning. One where I mattered too.

How to Think About Variations

This is where Zeland’s insight becomes revolutionary: you don’t need to create your dream life—you can simply choose it!

Instead of thinking “I need to create my dream life,” try thinking “My dream life exists somewhere. How do I align with that variation?”

It’s like tuning a radio. The station you want is already broadcasting—you just need to turn the knob to find the right frequency.

For me, this shifted so much. Instead of asking “How do I make this happen?” I started asking “What would it feel like if this were already happening?” Instead of trying to build something from scratch, I was learning to choose from what already exists.

The Variation Where I’m a Confident Writer

In previous attempts at blogging, I was told my writing was too “simple.” The feedback stung because I took it to mean my voice wasn’t sophisticated enough, academic enough, impressive enough. I was living in the “I’m not a real writer” variation.

I started trying to write differently—using bigger words, more complex sentences, trying to sound smarter than I felt. But it felt fake and forced, and ironically, it made my writing worse.

Then I started wondering: what does the variation where I’m a confident writer feel like?

In that variation, I don’t apologize for my simplicity—I embrace it. I write like I’m talking to a friend over coffee because that’s exactly what I’m doing. I trust that clarity is more valuable than complexity, that being understood matters more than sounding impressive.

I didn’t have to become a different person—I just had to align with a different variation of myself. The one where my natural, conversational voice is exactly what someone needs to hear.

Practical Ways to Slide Between Variations

Here’s what I’ve learned about accessing different variations:

Feel First, Act Second: Before taking action, spend time feeling what it would be like to already have what you want. Not visualizing it happening, but feeling it as if it’s already real.

Look for Evidence: Start noticing signs that your desired variation is already accessible. Maybe you have moments where your dream career feels possible, or glimpses of the relationship dynamic you want.

Act “As If”: Make choices from the variation you want to live in. If confident-writer me would pitch that article, I pitch it. If peaceful-morning me would sit quietly with coffee, I do that.

Trust the Process: Don’t worry about HOW the variation will fully manifest. Your job is alignment, not control.

Reminder – With any Reality Transurfing practice, do not attritube too much importance so that the balancing forces don’t kick you off course. Ease, grace and balance is my motto when practicising Reality Transurfing.

What Variation Are You Living In?

Right now, take a moment to consider: what variation of your life are you currently experiencing?

Is it the “struggling” variation? The “everything’s hard” variation? The “I’m not there yet” variation?

What if, instead, you could slide into the variation where you’re exactly where you need to be, learning what you need to learn, moving toward what’s meant for you?

That variation exists too. And it might be closer than you think.

Try this: Pick one area of your life where you want change. Instead of asking “How do I fix this?” ask “What variation of this situation would feel good?” Then spend some time feeling into that possibility. Visualise yourself in that situation with all your sense.

Your perfect life isn’t something you have to build from scratch. It’s something you can learn to access by simply choosing.
